Kendra Can Handle One Child....But 8?! NO WAY!

I don’t think any normal woman could survive a day in Kate Gosselin’s household. I mean the poor woman takes a daily beating caring for a basketball team of 8 children.

For a recent episode of Wife Swap, execs thought they would boost ratings by putting the former Playmate and Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson in charge of the Gosselin household for a day. In return, Kate would manage Kendra’s son Hank Jr……yes, just one child.

And to no great surprise, it was a little more than Wilksinson-Baskett was prepared for.

Kendra and husband Hank Baskett live in a breathtaking mansion completely equipped with full time nanny services. Kendra said herself that typically her nanny handles all the dirty work including diapers, dishes and cleaning while she just ‘sits’ and enjoys her life of luxury.

So imagine being thrown into the lion’s den in a steak suit with 8 hungry lion cubs ready to attack.

It brought Wilkinson to tears as she was responsible for watching the kids, doing chores and even tending to chickens!

Kendra admitted,

“I’m in Kate Gosselin’s house with her eight kids! Oh my God, Can I open a bottle of wine please. Just because I’m a mom, doesn’t mean I’m a dead.”

Kendra who typically sleeps in until Noon had to wake at 5:30 to start baking homemade bread for the kids to enjoy later that day…. Quite the change of pace from her usual routine.

And now I have an even greater respect for the life of Kate Gosselin. It would take a man eater to maintain a household like that.

Wilkinson shared that her day in the Gosselin house was the “longest day of her life.”

I bet it was! But a little dose of reality never hurt anyone! Not to mention that Kendra’s hair and makeup team wasn’t around to help her get up, get ready and get dressed. That girl is like helpless when it comes to real life, so I think this was a great experience for her.

And not to mention a great vacation day for Kate! She could probably manage one child with her eyes closed while getting a mani/pedi and having her teeth cleaned at the same time. Like eh, no big deal. Since she and her loser ex husband Jon Gosselin called it quits she’s been on her own, hustle’n!!
