Chris Brown Arrives at the Grammy's Post Car Accident....

Despite being involved in a car accident that totaled his Porsche yesterday, Chris Brown walked away from the accident completely unharmed. (Oh thank God, because the Grammy awards wouldn’t be the same without him…..ahem….cough….or something like that.)

Since the wreck, those manning the station at Chris Brown central have blamed the ever present paparazzi for the collision. Immediately following the accident Brown told Beverly Hills police that he was being chased by the pesky photogs moments before the collision. Awe, poor Chris.

Chris’ rep has confirmed,

“Chris Brown was in a car accident this afternoon after being ruthlessly pursued by paparazzi. He was in his vehicle by himself headed to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy for a Symphonic Love Foundation event when two vehicles cut him off.”

Naturally, the first question Ryan Seacrest would ask Chris upon his arrival at the Grammy’s was about the accident. Now he didn’t say, ‘I’m sure glad that it was your car that collided with something instead of your fist and Rihanna’s face this year…’ even thought that would have been interesting. Chris addressed Ryan’s question and calmly responded that he was just fine and blew off the totaled sports car like it was a stray cat.

Something along the lines of ‘oh, it’s fine man, I’ll get another no prob…’. The words stumbled out of his mouth, but isn’t that such a Chris Brown comment? Like eh, no biggie, I can replace it tomorrow with another or another like dozen of them if I want.

Chris does look dapper in an all-white suit. Polished, collected and hopefully on his best behavior, I was a bit shocked that Rihanna wasn’t on his arm during the interview. Perhaps they acknowledge that fans aren’t quite over their brawl several years ago. You know, to some people domestic abuse is, like, a total big deal and like, not okay. So perhaps they are respecting that fact…..for now.
