Elton John and David Furnish

David Furnish proves he isn't so sweet and innocent.

Material Girl Madonna, Sir Elton John and Mary J. Blige were nominated at the Golden Globes in the Best Original Song category last night. During Elton John’s red carpet interview with Carson Daly, Elton proved he was ready to rumble and go toe to toe with Madonna.

Eager to slap the wrinkles off her face with the trophy, Elton confessed to Carson that she had “no f***ing chance” at winning and taking home the Globe. Long story short, Madonna’s tune that was written for her film W.E., won over Elton’s “Hello, Hello” from the film Gnomeo & Juliet.

You would think once the winner was announced, the drama would be over. However, a couple such as Sir Elton John and husband David Furnish revel in the spotlight of scandal, this feud is not so simply resolved.

David fervently took to Facebook to share his outrage over Madonna’s victory for Best Original Song. The posts have since been taken down, but luckily the internet makes it impossible for David’s hissy fit moments to permanently disappear.

First there was, “Madonna. Best song???? F*** off!!”
Next, “Thank you for all your comments and support. Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism… “

Daaaaa-yummmm, you go gur….we mean David. Some would say David’s very public reaction is immature, petty and very high school cheerleading squad argument-like, but we think it’s charming and very supportive of his man. A seemingly reserved, polite piece of arm candy for Elton, we are definitely liking this secret spicy side of David.

The gloves are off Madge, what do you think her response will be?!
