Arsenio and Kathy Lee get dowwwn!

Arsenio and Kathy Lee get dowwwn!!

Last week we saw the elimination of Forte member, Tia Carrere. She ended up taking the hit as the project manager for the losing team, and she was fired. Despite drama amongst the men’s team, they pulled through, and project manager Lou Ferrigno gets to present $50K to his charity for kids with muscular dystrophy!!! Awwwwww! This is definitely my favorite part of the show! Heartwarming! These kids are so much stronger than so many adults, what an amazing lesson! But back to Donald! We see the teams lined up in front of him awaiting their next project. They’re up on a high rise taking in the spectacle of New York city with some reps from Crystal Light. They’re here to promote their new line of “mock-tail” drink mixes… “delicious, low calorie, non-alcoholic versions of popular cocktails.” The teams are tasked with creating and throwing a “fabulous” Crystal Light mock party! The teams are to pick project managers, and as expected Aubrey O’Day the pro-partier has stepped up for Forte. For Unanimous, Clay Aiken felt like it was his turn to step up! But he’s not sure how he’ll stand up to Aubrey who “popped out of her mom’s chach and grabbed on to the stripper pole!” WOW I love him! $50K to the winning team… annnnd GO!

Right off the bat the men’s team feels at a disadvantage since, contrary to expectation, none of them party!  Yeaaaah, ok Clay. ;) The women are granting us the permission to indulge by pushing a “the unforbidden fruit” theme. The reps pay them a visit and say their brand is sassy and vibrant, and they’re excited about this new, fun drink. Alternatively on the men’s team, they’re pushing the ‘party in a pack’ idea. Clay likes a “life’s a peach” idea playing off their flavor, going with a beach party theme. Both ideas actually seem good!

Aubrey takes her usual dig at Debbie, saying she asked her to write an original Crystal Lite song so she doesn’t have to hear any more of her old tired hits! Damn girl, who do you think you are? These women are so catty, it’s crazy. Lisa Lampanelli is really letting the cat out of the bag, and I don’t think she’s just an insult comic. LOL Patricia says the two of them are are a pair of the most damaging behavior she’s ever seen! Don Jr. stops by the women’s team and of course, Aubrey tries to impress him as she has a huuuuge crush. Grosss. Aubrey talks about their ‘forbidden garden’ idea, and Don Jr. calls out that the ‘fun component’ seems to be missing. Teresa heaps it on that she isn’t sure about their “stir your healthy idea” theme, and Aubrey tells her to think of something better then. WOOF.

The men’s team is working well together, as usual, they’ve set their egos aside. Penn is even being super helpful this time and going out of his way to chip in and be a team player. Dee is on the graphics… this team is in full swing! They’re all on their phones calling in peeps to hit their beach! Ivanka stops by and Dee tries to recruit her to be a bikini babe at their party. Clay spills the beans that none of them party. Ivanka has been sent by Donald to see if Penn is taking a back seat since last week’s heated board room.

I don’t think Aubrey gets that Debbie Gibson is a star. YEA she might not be pumping out the hits today, but hey… neither is Danity Kane. At least she made her name. Aubrey doens’t miss a chance to nab her for doing what she does. As usual, there is tension between Patricia and the Lisa/Aubrey machine… reeeearrrr! The claws are out! Debbie and Dayana hit the studio to record Debbies Crystal Lite diddy… heh heh. Hey we all gotta have a diddy, right Aubrey? As the day of the party comes, the women seem to fall apart. Their carpet, and pieces of their set, like signage, are just not there and they’re scrambling to get it together. Finally their red carpet comes, but the popsicles are melting. However, once the doors open, in come the people and the party is going off. The executives stopped by and loved the fun and vibrant garden theme, and they loved the original Debbie Gibson theme song! So true to form, Aubrey announces that because she did so well, she expects those catty bitches to stab her in the back.

In contrast, the men’s team are embracing their gifts and celebrity talents. Clay is singing tracks and they’re having a good time. They are all pitching in to get the party together…everyone is doing a task and being a team to get it done! They are in spirit, even putting on their hawaiian shirts. Alooooha! However, once they open their doors, there are no guests at their party! And where are their bikini babes?! Despite having it all together before, the party doesn’t seem too peachy. But before they could think too much of it, the Clay-mates came swimming in. Suddenly their party was full, and everyone was getting…beachy! Everyone honestly seemed to be having a super good time, I’d say they really hit the “fun” component on the head. Even Kathy Lee and Hoda from “The Today Show” came through! At the end, the Crystal Light executives showed up and were thrilled that everyone loved the product. While they were there Clay Aiken let loose and sang “Under the Boardwalk.”

The executives came back to Trump and said they were amazed at the parties, and how different of a direction each team took it. Men went fun and exciting while women went modern, upscale luxury party. They really liked the Crystal Light song Debbie did, and they really liked Aubrey. They wanted more branding from the Men’s team, more signage. They were concerned about brand messaging in the women’s team.

Back in the board room, Aubrey readily declares that her team was fantastic and they think they won. Teresa calls Aubrey “amazing” and Teresa says everyone got along. WOW… what are they smoking? Teresa says Aubrey was a great leader and that they also know that they need to stick together if they want to win. They love their song and love that the executives were so into it. That’s probably their biggest component of what the executives liked. Immediately Donald is putting people on the spot, and Teresa says Dayana should get fired if they lose. Dayana says the project manager deserves to get fired. Lisa says everyone stepped up more this time, and didnt have anyone to throw under the bus! A first!

Trump tells Clay the executives loved him! Donald complements Arsenio’s Trump tie. Everyone championed Clay’s leadership efforts and said the team is in top form working with him. Dee was blown away! Even Penn says Clay did a wonderful job! Clay went over how everyone used their talent and celebrity for the party. Bam, on the spot… Clay has to pick 2 peeps to bring back. He says it’s very stressful to have to pick 2 people he likes, and he pussyfoots around and gets yelled at by Donald. He is forced to name Dee and either Lou or Paul. For the feedback, client thought the men’s team was entertaining, loved the use of celebrity, but they doubted the branding inside.

Aubrey, who had a lot more time to think has an articulate reason. She names Dayana and Patricia, while complementing them profusely. Don goes over their highlights… loved the theme, loved the song, loved the ‘healthy desire’, thought it was very polished and hip. Doubted the brand messaging within the graphics. And now for the winner! Donald says the executives loved both, but the winner is THE MEN’S TEAM! Deep inside I am extremely happy that loud mouth Aubrey now has to eat all her words. MUAHAHAHAHAH.

Immediately in the board room, Aubrey is crying… wow! REALLY???? What a BABY! She gets a pity $10K out of Trump… GEEEZ! I hate that he panders to her. At least the charity gets the money. But I can’t stand watching this bitch blubber. Oh and on the spot, things get real, and of course she shouldn’t get fired! Dayana should! They go back and forth about who did what, and who should be responsible. Dayana brings up that their team has only won 2 challenges, and because Aubrey touts how she’s been a driving force on all their work, why shouldn’t she be fired?! Aubrey brings back Patricia and Dayana.

Aubrey, Dayana, and Patricia go neck and neck and try to bring up things that each other hasn’t done well enough. It’s the same back and forth arguing about who’s creative, who’s useful, who’s not, who doesn’t step up enough. Finally Trump ends it and says the client didn’t like the print materials, which were Patricia’s responsibility, and fires Patricia. Boom!
