"Ello London!"

There aren’t enough OMGs in this world to express my excitement at this exact moment. Luckily I wore my Spice World t-shirt to work today, just on accident, thinking I’d spunk up my Friday with some girl power…

And then The Hollywood Reporter informs me that my favorite band of all time, the Spice Girls will be performing at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics!!!! ‘Every boy and every girrrrl, SPICE UP YOUR LIFE!”

It is well known that the only reason the girls haven’t gotten back together to perform in nearly a decade is one Mrs. Victoria Beckham. Yes she has several children, yes she has a gorgeous hunky husband to sex on, yes she has a fashion empire to run…but what about what the world really wants? Some teeny tiny Gucci dresses, platform shoes and over the top estrogen levels! Spice Girls forever!

So you can assume that Posh Spice is getting QUITE the payday for her time at the Olympics.

There hasn’t been any information released on what song(s) they will sing, how long they are scheduled to go on, or really anything for that matter. But knowing that they will be at the games is enough to create pandemonium throughout London!

We do know that all 5 girls will be present, whewwww. (Again, that frowny, pouty spice Victoria, she’s a bit of a stickler for this kinda shiz.)

Remember that last month the girls reunited to launch their Spice based musical Viva Forever, at the St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel. The hotel was the setting for their famous first music video, Wannabe which debuted 16 years ago. I’m totally shocked that they didn’t use that opportunity to share this wonderful news with the world?! Talk about creating some buzz for your dinky musical…in comparison, this news is colossal!
