Ryan Locthe, Pool Pee-er.

If I wasn’t proud of Ryan Lochte before, I am definitely chanting ‘USA, USA, USA’ right now in his honor, because he has just shown the entire world what Americans are all about.

Admitting what most swimmers probably wouldn’t Ryan recently confessed to springing a little leek in the Olympic pool. He totally leaked a little lemonade during warm-ups before the big race.

While on the phone with Mr. London 2012 himself, Ryan Seacrest, Ryan asked if the American swimmers ever pee in the pool.

Lochte’s cool (well 98.6 degree) response was,

“Of course… we always do.”

And there you have it.

Lochte continued that it wasn’t during the races, but shortly before…

He said, “Not during the races, but I sure did before in warm-up…” And finally, “There’s something about getting into chlorine water that you just automatically go.”

Maybe for you Ryan, but I’m always terrified that the pool water is going to have that super secret chemical that will automatically expose my warm, yellow crime to the surrounding area. But to think of those elite swimmers all bobbing around in each other’s urine is actually borderline disgusting.

I guess I’d rather know that they pee in the pool instead of each other in the shower afterwards…just sayin’. But if I were about to swim in front of the entire world on national TV, I think I’d be more concerned that I’d blow some bubbles out of my suit, instead of spring a leak.

Are you surprised that the Olympic swimmers pee in the pool?! I’m more shocked that Ryan Lochte owned up to the crime!! I bet that confession got Seacrest a little hot and bothered!
