Beyonce and Baby!

Blue Ivy Carter, maybe the most interesting celebrity baby name since Apple. A unique combination of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s birth dates and album titles, we are just glad that her last name isn’t … nevermind.

Unless you live under a rock, it is news around the world that superstars Beyonce and Jay-Z have welcomed a little girl into the world. Born on January 7th, Blue Ivy Carter was delivered in a private hospital wing in NYC. Rumors indicate that her proud parents have shelled out a cool $1.3 million dollars for the privacy.

Other rumors have suggested that other parents were not too happy to be sharing the same birth day with diva Blue Carter. The heightened security near the nursery restricted other new parents from visiting their new born baby. We can assume that trying to keep a new mom from her baby, is much like trying to keep Khloe Kardashian out of the Krispy Kremes. Not a really cool thing to do to your birth neighbors, but then again, when you are Beyonce and Jay-Z, you could probably just shell out enough cash to buy the entire hospital.

A rep for Bey and Jay released this quote about baby Blue’s birth, “her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful. We are in heaven.”

There are several things that are known about pregnancy and childbirth.

1. It definitely is NOT peaceful. It doesn’t matter if it is Mother Theresa the monarch of peace sweating and screaming through labor, it isn’t like a sweet summer breeze and lemonade.

2. A known fear of mothers to be is the possibility of an accidental poop on the table. Despite being the spawn of Beyonce, the cutest baby on earth couldn’t pull off this look.

3. A mother’s body goes through a lot of physical changes throughout a pregnancy. We are certain that Beyonce is already in the gym right now. At least the world will probably have a couple weeks of huge nursing Beyonce boob pictures to drool over.
